On my Albufeira holiday I picked up these huge baked eyeshadows for €2,95 a piece. For this price, I didn’t expect very much of it, but I really wanted to take them home. So I did. Unfortunately there are no colour names or numbers noted on the shadows so you’ll have to make do with my pictures and swatches of my Yes Love baked eyeshadows
If you were wondering why I called these shadows huge… Here it is. They are the size of my palm. Really they are Big with a capital B.
First swatches are the browns. This eyeshadow pot contains four different colours ranging from brown to orange and red. These colours are amazing autumn colours, but you don’t want to overdo the orange colour, that might make you look ill.
Next swatches are the purple veiny baked eyeshadows. This contains lovely lilac, pink, purple and green colours.
And here are some swatches lighted by flash photography.
These eyeshadows are shimmery, very well pigmented. No amazingly pigmented, these were all single stroke swatches! It’s a shame that these shadows do crumble quite a lot, so prepare for fall-out, which is very annoying to say the least, but still something that you can overcome if you know how to work with these kind of shadows. Longevity isn’t something I was able to test out yet, but the swatches of colour are gorgeous! I couldn’t find the exact amount of product in these pots, but since they are the size of my hand, I’m not concerned for any pan showing up soon.
Yes Love cosmetics are sometimes hard to find, but when you do find them, they are definitely worth a better look.
Did you know about Yes Love before? What do you think about these swatches? Let me know:)
